Liturgical Services

We celebrate the Eucharist each Sunday at 9 am. Liturgies are primarily taken from the Book of Alternative Services. Many members of the congregation participate in our services by reading lessons,  greeting, or leading the Prayers of the People.

St. John's has a professional Music Director who carefully chooses music which is appropriate for each of our services. She also uses her own compositions which are performed on both the organ and piano. We have a dedicated choir which leads the singing, and our congregation loves to sing. Other instrumentalists are invited to perform on special occasions. 

We have special services throughout the year for Harvest Festival, St. Francis Day, Mothering Sunday (the fourth Sunday in Lent), Palm Sunday, Holy Week, and Christmas.
